WhatsApp Will No Longer Support These Phones From 2021

WhatsApp runs even on cheap keypad phones, but do you think this and other apps have an infinite life cycle? The reality of the facts shows us that things are not like that at all. In this case, we are talking about WhatsApp, which from next year, i.e. from 2021, will stop working on some Android and iOS phones.

It’s one of the most used and most downloaded applications on the Google Play Store, but for security reasons, in fact, all smartphones equipped with a version prior to 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, which in reality are very few, will no longer be able to use WhatsApp.

WhatsApp will stop working from 2021

The information comes from the FAQ support page of WhatsApp. If you don’t know which Android version your smartphone is running, just follow these simple steps to find out: Settings> System> About> Check the version of Android present. Unfortunately, there is no alternative way to go around the blocking of WhatsApp operation.

If you own a smartphone with this version of Android, perhaps the time has come to consider buying a new model. As far As iPhones are concerned, iPhones running on iOS 9 and newer will support WhatsApp.

iPhone 4 and earlier models will not support WhatsApp in 2021. Models including 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and 6S will need to update their operating system to iOS 9 or later to continue using WhatsApp.
