Android 10 on Redmi 7 Now Rolling Out in India

Came in March 2019, the mid-range Redmi 7 has been constantly updated with security patches and also new versions of MIUI. Now Android 10 on Redmi 7 is rolling out in India with build number V11.0.3.0.QFLINXM.

The update is classified as “Stable Beta” for the time being. This means that at least for now, it is limited to some users who use the trial version. Speaking especially of what we see in this update is the MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Security patch of December 2020 is also offered to users, thus leaving the device with good protection against vulnerabilities.

Considering this initial availability of the beta variant, we’re expecting that Redmi will expand availability. Including devices that have global ROM and other regions, something that obviously does not have an exact date to happen.
