Coolpad Launches Two New Smartphones, Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has launched two new smartphones, the Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A in India. These range of budget handsets will be made available for offline sale. Talking about Coolpad A1, it has an 8-megapixel rear camera a 5 megapixels front camera. It sports a 5.0 inch full HD display and it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Its price is 5,499 rupees.

Coolpad A1 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz. The company claims that it will not be difficult to use multiple apps at once. This handset will come with 2GB RAM. Its inbuilt storage is 16GB. It is possible to increase it up to 64GB with the help of MicroSD card. The battery has been claimed that it can keep the phone up to 240 hours on standby.

In terms of connectivity, the phone will get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. It will be made available in the Gold colour variant. The sale of the phone will start in 3000 multi-brand stores of 8 states.

As far as the specifications of Coolpad Mega 4A is concerned, the phone has a 5-megapixel sensor in the rear and a 2-megapixel pixel camera at the front. There is a 5.0 inch full HD display in the phone with a slick design. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 SoC along with a 2000 mAh battery. The handset runs on Android 7.1 OS and it costs Rs 4,299. It will also be available in the Gold variant. The smartphone will be released for offline sale from Thursday.

Coolpad Mega 4A smartphone is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor. Its highest clock speed is 1.3 GHz. There is 1GB RAM in the phone. The internal storage is 16GB. The phone’s battery has been claimed that it can stay on standby for up to 150 hours.

“In an effort to make some formidable presence in the offline market in India we are looking forward to introduce some competitive offline-exclusive devices. These devices will offer a good value proposition to the customers,” Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said in a statement.

“We are planning to introduce some more offline devices in the next two-three months, in order to expand into the offline market through our retails partners and multi-brand outlets,” Tajuddin added.
