The DJI Action 2 has not yet been revealed by the manufacturer, but it has a series of rumors and leaks that hang over this model that will be a direct competitor to GoPro Hero 10, an action camera that is quite popular among users looking for a tough accessory and with the excellent recording quality.
A few days back, we also saw the leaked images of the DJI Mavic 3 drone. It is expected to come with Hasselblad cameras.
Still, without official confirmations, Action 2 had its first images revealed this week that indicate the possible design of the camera. The first photo is an apparently accidental leak promoted by YouTuber Peter McKinnon, owner of the channel that bears his name and has 5.52 million subscribers.
According to rumors, the DJI Action 2 has a modular body that allows you to attach different accessories to the camera, such as an external drum module, macro lens, remote control, etc. In the image above we can see in the lower right corner a package that apparently belongs to the model in question, revealing the design and support for a tripod.
In the image below, it is possible to view the image that indicates the possible construction of the square-shaped camera, highlighting the presence of the main lens centered on the front of the device and a viewfinder on the part that faces the user.
For now, the manufacturer has not commented on the product’s release date, but rumors suggest that Action 2 may be announced on October 27.
