Meizu Flyme 9 Officially Announced

The new Meizu 18 and 18 Pro will be launched tomorrow and today the Chinese manufacturer announces the new interface of its OS Meizu Flyme 9. A new version of the user interface is coming with several features and more fluidity for those who wish to customize their device and perform tasks as quickly as possible.

Among the highlights revealed by Meizu, we have new animations for the system that integrate better with the transitions by changing the screen orientation and switching between applications. The notification center has also been redesigned and now has an area designed for quick controls.

The new Meizu Flyme 9 also includes new interactive wallpapers, an improved Always On screen, and more control over what data is accessed by applications with the new Privacy Risk Self-Test, which helps protect the system from unwanted and malicious applications.

Voice assistant Aicy has also received improvements. She is now able to hold a conversation with the user by responding to commands as well as Google Assistant. It can also be used to read web pages, control smart devices, and can be programmed to read notifications while you are using a headset.

The new Flyme 9 will also be available for Meizu phones launched in the last 2 years, with the Meizu 18 series models being the first to receive it. The Meizu 17 and 17 Pro smartphones are already with open beta testing on the official pages of the Chinese. The Meizu 16 series models should receive the last update, which is already being developed.
