While Oppo is preparing the launch of the new Find X3 series with models at all prices, the company should also continue to present premium mid-range variants of the popular Reno and A-lines. These phones should come with a focus on more competitive values and an excellent cost-benefit ratio. Now the Oppo Reno5 Z in the pipeline.
New details reveal that the Chinese manufacturer is working on this new phone which is the direct successor of the Oppo Reno4 Z. Excitement is growing thanks to the different certification records published by the FCC, NEMKO, IMDA, GCF, and Bluetooth SIG.
The smartphone, which has model number CPH2211 in the certifications, appears with measures of 160.1 x 73.4 x 7.8 mm and a weight of 175 grams. The battery would have a capacity of 4,220 mAh (total of 4,300 mAh) and would arrive with support for fast charging of 30W or 33W.
In the images published by the certification bodies, we see a scheme that details the location of the certification label but also details the set of cameras that is very similar to the Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus.
Oppo and other Chinese phone makers generally launch the same phone in different markets with different names. So it is quite possible that the Reno 5 Pro Plus could be launched as Oppo Reno5 Z in other regions. However, the specifications and details revealed in the records show that, despite the similar camera module, the models will in fact be different in hardware and dimensions.
