Today Realme has expanded its range of budget smartphones by launching the Realme 8 5G smartphone in India. It’s the cheapest 5G phone in India, for now. It sports a finish that uses light reflections to give brilliance to the Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue colors and has a particularly thin and light body.
This Realme smartphone offers a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Dragontrail glass protection. Under the hood is MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G chipset which can count on up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Realme 8 5G adopts a triple rear camera setup. It consists of a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor, a monochrome portrait lens, and a 4cm macro lens. The front camera, on the other hand, offers a 16MP sensor and is housed in the top left hole.
A 5,000mAh battery backs the handset with 18W charging and on the side, you’ll get the fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. The software package includes Android 11 with a customized Realme UI 2.0 interface.
