Samsung One UI 4.1.1 Coming by the End of the Year

Every time Samsung launches a new flagship smartphone, the manufacturer also releases an updated version of One UI, i.e. its customized interface, destined to land on all the company’s devices. Well, on the occasion of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, the Korean tech giant should release Samsung One UI 4.1.1.

Last year, it did the same for the previous generations of its folding smartphones (arrived with One UI 3.1.1). If until now we were moving in the field of speculations, now confirmation has arrived from a representative of Samsung, who in the official forum of the Korean giant spoke of Samsung One UI 4.1.1 (this in response to a user complaining about a bug related to an app from the Good Lock suite).

As per tradition, the Samsung team did not want to anticipate the features that will be introduced with the next version of the company’s customized interface but it is likely that One UI 4.1.1 will end up representing only a minor update, perhaps with some news in more specifically designed to enhance the potential of folding smartphones.

In essence, Samsung smartphone owners should not expect a revolution in August, a period in which the launch of the new generations of the company’s folding devices is expected.

For the big news, however, we will have to be patient until the beginning of next year, when One UI 5.0 should be launched, probably on the occasion of the official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series: it will be this version, in fact, to introduce the new ones. Android 13 features and those specially developed by the team of the Korean giant to make the experience offered to the owners of the company’s devices ever richer.
