Sony has lifted the curtain from its two new flagship smartphones, the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact in the biggest tech fair ‘MWC 2018’. Both phones come equipped with Sony’s advanced motion camera technology. In addition, these handsets have high-resolution audio, Water Resistance IP 65/68, HDR display with front-facing stereo speakers.
Phones are equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Both the smartphones will be available by March this year. Both smartphones run on Android 8.0 Oreo (Out of the Box). No official information has been given about the price.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Specification
Xperia XZ2 has a 5.7-inch Full HD Plus (1080×2160 pixel resolution) triluminous HDR display. The display is embedded with the X-Reality engine. The phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The phone will be available in Single and Dual SIM (Nano) variants.
The handset is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. 4GB RAM has been provided to enhance the performance. The phone will be made available in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green and Ash Pink Color Variants.
Speaking of the camera, the Xperia XZ2 has a 19-megapixel motion-eyed rear camera, which is equipped with autofocus burst, 4 HDR recording, 8x digital zoom and steady shot technology. The front has a sensor of 5-megapixels. It is equipped with 23 mm wide angle lens and styled shot feature. The phone has 64GB inbuilt storage. Option to increase storage using up to 400GB MicroSD card is also been provided. There is a 3,180 mAh battery, which is equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
In terms of connectivity, features like USB-Type C, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Wireless Charging and Google Cast have been added to the phone. Fingerprint sensor is in the rear of the phone. The weight of the phone is 198 grams.

Xperia XZ2 is a compact single/dual SIM (nano) smartphone, which runs on Android 8.0 Oreo (Out of the Box). The phone has a 5.0 inch full HD Plus triillion HDR display. Qualcomm snapdragon 845 processor works in the handset clubbed with 4GB of RAM. The phone will be available in black, white silver, moss green and coral pink color variants.
As far as the camera is concerned, a 19-megapixel motion sensor has been given in the rear of the smartphone. It supports 4K HDR video recording. The front camera is a 5-megapixels, which will facilitate selfie and video calling experience. The phone has 64GB of inbuilt storage and includes up to 400 GB microSD card with the option to increase the storage. Power up the phone with 2870 mAh battery, which is equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
It has Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C for connectivity. Fingerprint sensor is in the back part of the phone. Total weight of the phone is 168 grams
