Sony SRS-RA5000 & SRS-RA3000 Premium Wireless Speakers Announced

Before the CES 2021, Sony has just announced two new speakers optimized for sound reproduction with 360 Reality Audio, the Sony SRS-RA5000 & SRS-RA3000. Focused on audio quality, both speakers feature Immersive Audio Enhancement, which converts stereo tracks to three-dimensional audio format, and offers sound calibration to adjust your signature according to the environment they are in.

The RA5000 is the more premium of the two, with Hi-Fi certified high-quality audio. A set of six speakers, with three facing up and three positionings horizontally, and a subwoofer for the bass. Each speaker uses neodymium magnets with high magnetism and has diaphragms reinforced with mica for greater resistance.

The SRS-RA3000 is the more basic of the two, but it still brings premium configurations. The device has a full-range speaker, accompanied by a diffuser to spread the audio around the environment and a passive double radiator to give more depth to low frequencies.

Interestingly, although “more basic”, the RA3000 can be the more versatile of the two because it has resistance to humidity. This allows the user to use it in environments such as swimming pools or even bathrooms without major concerns. Both also have an automatic volume control, which analyzes the environment for adjustments and enters standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Complete the set of functions the integrated Chromecast, for connection with cell phones and other devices, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Spotify Connect, controls through the Sony Music Center app, possibility to connect them directly to certain TV models from Bravia line, as well as support for commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
