Xiaomi today announced a new premium mid-range smartphone, Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. It’s a new phone in the Xiaomi CC9 series that also sparkles at gamers. Technical Specifications of Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has a 6.47-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixel) AMOLED screen, with a notch on top housing the front camera and sensors. Under the hood, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset with a 2.2 GHz Octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU.
Three variants are available, with 6-128 GB, 8-128 GB, and 8-256 GB with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 internal memory, without expansion slots. Rich connectivity, which in addition to dual-SIM support to 4G/LTE networks, can rely on dual-band 802.11 ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The real strength obviously lies in the camera department, which for the first time on a Xiaomi device we find five rear cameras, arranged vertically on the left side. The main sensor is a 108-megapixel Samsung HMX sensor with dimensions of 1 / 1.33″, 0.8-micron pixels, f / 1.69 aperture, a 7-lens system, and optical image stabilization.
To act as a “boundary” to this monster we find a 12-megapixel sensor for portrait functions, with an equivalent focal length of 50 mm and 2X optical zoom, an 8-megapixel sensor with 5X optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50X digital zoom and optical image stabilization, 20-megapixel sensor with 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens for shots at a minimum distance of only 5 millimeters. On the front, instead, there is a 32-megapixel sensor for high-quality selfies.
The fivefold rear camera of Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has achieved an excellent evaluation by DxOMark, which awarded 121 points to the smartphone, with 130 points in the photo section and 102 points in the video. The result puts the smartphone at the top of the rankings, like Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
The phone is also excellent in the battery as it has a capacity of 5,260 mAh and fast 30-watt charge support. The dimensions are 157.8 x 74.2 x 9.67 millimeters for a weight of 208 grams. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 interface, but the update to MIUI 11 and Android 10 will come soon.
