Xiaomi Redmi S2 is in The Works, Certified on TENAA

Xiaomi seems to be in a hurry, as soon after the launch of Mi A2 the company is working to bring another mid-range device, Redmi S2. A new leak emerged revealing that this new Redmi S2 smartphone is in the pipeline and already been approved by TENNA and the 3C certification authority.

In another leak from the Czech Republic, the high-resolution images and detailed specs of the still unofficial device has been surfaced. The yet to be launched Redmi S2 is seen in Pink colour in the images and on the front, there is a selfie camera along with the microphone speaker grill.

On the back, there is a dual-camera setup in a vertical module equipped with LED flash and we can also see the fingerprint sensor in the middle. At the bottom edge, there is a speaker grill along with the headphone jack.

As far as the other specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi S2 is concerned, there is a 5.99-inch HD + display with a resolution of 268 pixels, Snapdragon 625 processor drive the handset clubbed with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage is 32 GB which can be expanded using microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI on top, houses a 3080mAh battery, 12MP+5MP dual rear cameras and a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper. For connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, etc options are given.
