Honor, which is the smartphone brand of Huawei, has launched its new premium smartphone the Honor 10 in China. At the rear, you’ll find curved glass design along with a colour changing coating which changes the colour when you change the angle. The highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with AI 2.0 and a display notch at the front.

Honor 10 Specifications

The Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch full HD+LCD display with a notch on top and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The front camera, sensors and earpiece sit under the notch, enabling the handset to hold a good screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone is driven by Huawei’s Kirin 970 octa-core processor clubbed with 6GB of RAM and with 64GB/128GB internal storage. There is a 3,400mAh battery supported by fast charging technology and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s own EMUI 8.1 skin on top.

Talking about the camera, there is a dual-camera setup at the rear in a combination of 24-megapixel primary and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there is a 24-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

As mentioned earlier, both front and rear cameras are equipped with AI capabilities (AI 2.0) resulting in better photos as it automatically detects landscape, portrait, scene and other subjects.

At the heart of the smartphone runs Huawei’s Kirin 970 octa-core SoC which comes with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), along with advanced AI capabilities (AI 2.0). It can process Prisma-like image effects two times faster than the iPhone X, the company said. The AI has also been implemented in cameras where it can detect landscape, portrait, scene and subject to allow you to clock better photos.
