Honor V40 5G Launch Gets a New Date of January 22

The Honor V40 5G launch date has been postponed to January 22. Initially, the launch date was Jan 18, but Honor citing conference venue and equipment-related issues change the date. This is going to be the first phone after becoming independent from Huawei.

Honor on its Chinese social media account shared this information confirming 22 January as the Honor V40 5G launch date. The phone will come equipped with a GPU Turbo X engine designed to offer an unprecedented gaming experience.

In addition to revealing the release date of the Honor V40 5G, the manufacturer also posted a link that takes the user directly to the Suning online store. The intention is to allow the interested public to register and even reserve the new phone.

Honor V40 5G Specifications

Currently, there is no official information regarding the specifications of the V40 5G. However, some leaks give us hints what should this phone might pack. The handset can reach the market with MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus processor, LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.

Another important highlight is the rear camera’s main sensor, which has 50MP. Finally, Honor should use its new Magic UI interface under Android 11, with a fast wired charge of 66W. The poster (above) shared by Honor reveals the color options of the V40 5G which are black, blue, silver, and peach.
